The Table Top
Here for sale is this beautiful handmade live edge 3 board dining or kitchen table. The timber is solid pippy Oak with lots of wonderful character and grain patterns. The bark has been removed from the edges to leave the natural organic shape of the Oak tree.
The ascetically pleasing look of an odd-numbered board top is that the eye is naturally drawn to the central board, of which in this case enabled me to make it the ‘show’ board that has more prominent grain pattern and character than the outer boards plus ‘butterfly’ jointing at one end as can be seen from below photos.
The client has the option of a wooden or metal base.
Dimensions are 3m x 1.1m x 40mm thick.
