The original brief was for a live edge coffee table as a centrepiece for the lounge.

Specifications

They loved the coffee table so much that they decided to retire the outdated veneered dining table they’d had since getting married for an up-scaled version of the coffee table and commission a statement piece for the dining room!

The bespoke live edge slab dining table and coffee table are made from a single slab of English Elm and finished with natural hard wax oil. We had the charcoaled metal base made locally.

Wood & Character: English Elm tabletop flattened with a hand plane, bark removed, sanded using belt sander then rotary sander..

Dimensions: L 210cm, W 90cm, & 50mm thick.

Tabletop Finish: Natural hard wax oil.

Leg Design: Mild steel box frame base painted in charcoal.
