The client wanted their Antique Oak Refectory table restoring and widening. The original Antique Refectory Table was approx 100 years old and made from 3 planks of Solid Character English Oak. The original Antique Refectory Table was needed some carefully restoration.
We took the Antique Refectory Table apart and added an extra oak board. The oak board was then, finished, stained and coloured to match the existing boards. Then the whole Refectory Table was then given a wax finish.
We used their original Oak Refectory Table base too. We just had to make sure the locators under the table top were in the right place when putting the whole table back to together again.
The client is now the happy owner of a fully restored Antique Oak Handmade Refectory table that will last another 100 years.
