900cm High Bookmatched Live Edge Oak Table

Specifications

I made this lovely wine tasting table for Dermot & Anna at their vineyard, not too far from my own workshop.

The table dimensions are 3m x 1m. Made from a beautiful pair of ‘bookmatched’ oak boards, with lovely grain patterns and characteristics. Butterfly jointing is used on the splits to prevent further ‘creapage’ and to add that special touch.

All finished with a hard-wax oil for low maintenance and hard wearing.

The height of the table (also in solid oak) was increased from the standard dining table height of 760/770mm to a counter height of 900mm. The client’s will either be standing or perched on bar stools so the increased height is more comfortable for quaffing some of Dermots special bubbly!

I’m eagerly waiting to see the table with those liquid treasures on display very soon.

Wood & Character: 2 ‘bookmatched’ oak boards with raw natural look.

Dimensions: L 300cm, W 100cm & 40mm thick.

Tabletop Finish: Natural hard wax oil.
