This Bespoke Handmade Extending Oak Refectory table was commissioned to include 2 extending leafs and 6 matching frame chairs with pippy oak back splats. The client requested that the leaves have the option of being stored separately when not in use so as to maintain the integrity of the handmade Refectory table.
Overall seating is be 6 when not extended and 10-12 when fully extended. Space between table legs is 1.3m allowing plenty of room for 2 seats.
The extending refectory table and chairs were coloured/finished in rich/warm Jacobean to complement the existing room furniture. The tabletop is inshaved and sanded. Table legs are 100mm x 100mm and have edges ‘rolled over/worn look’ as lower ‘H’ stretcher.
Extending Refectory Table end overhang is 150mm which will extend to 600mm when leaf attached allowing for extra seating
Refectory Table Dimensions: 1.8m x 1m x 38mm plus 2 leaf extensions giving total length of 2.7m.
